Specialty tests are not usually part of standard lab testing. Speciality lab testing includes testing for food sensitivities, stool testing (bacteria, parasites, fungal, worms and more), salivary hormone levels, toxin testing, heavy metal testing, detailed cardiovascular testing, detailed nutrient testing such as amino acids, vitamins and more!
Do you feel that your labs look “normal” and still have symptoms but cannot find out why? Are you tired of having just basic labs drawn that do not give you the big picture? Do you want to have a comprehensive analysis of your health and are not sure how to do that? Do you like having a lot of details about your health?
At NES, we offer specialty lab testing which means that we partner with reputable lab companies who offer tests beyond the basics. We select tests that give us detailed information on your health such as detailed food sensitivity/allergy testing, comprehensive stool analysis, detailed lipid markers, genetic testing, salivary cortisol testing, at home sleep studies testing for sleep apnea, at home blood spot tests to check your hormones and more to help get more detailed information in understanding the root cause of your condition. With this information, we take a bigger look at the root causes of your condition and help to generate a treatment plan that address them. The goal is to help you feel amazing and help empower you to take the steps needs to achieve optimal health and wellbeing.
After your first appointment, the doctor will order the necessary lab work for your condition. In addition to this, the doctor will make recommendations for specific specialty testing, depending on your circumstances. The specialty test kits will usually be provided after your visit if you have an “in person” visit. If you have a telemedicine or phone consultation, the test kits can be shipped to you. The testing kit(s) come with instructions on how to complete and shipping information on how to send back to the company. After you submit this, the doctor will be notified when your results are ready and then you can schedule a follow up appointment to review them. You can book a follow up appointment in your patient portal or by calling us to schedule you.
