Denise moved to The United States from Paddington England with her parents in 1971. As a young child she attended Galveston Elementary School and then Chandler Jr High School in Chandler, Arizona. As a teenager at Chandler High School where she became interested in many things including softball, tennis, track and along with jewelry design. She graduated in 1980. Two weeks later her family was transferred back to England at Mildenhall / Lakenheath Air Force Base. As a young woman there, she first worked at a pizza parlor making pizzas, later she became a waitress at the Officers Club. Returning back to The United States in 1984, she attended Apollo College to become a medical assistant. After receiving her diploma, her first job was as a dialysis technician. She then worked at Desert Samaritan Hospital, now known as Banner Desert as a phlebotomist for Sonoraa Labs. As time went by, she was approached by a pediatrician, and ended up working with 3 pediatricians over 11 years as a pediatric medical assistant. Over the years she has gained the reputation of a "vein whisperer" by many patients and doctors. Years later she became a medical assistant instructor at Remington College in Tempe Az. She has spent the last 15 years in the naturopath world and has loved every minute of it. Things she has learned along the way in her career have been that having great empathy and giving great care to her patients is truly a blessing for her and many patients have become good friends along the way. Denise is married to her wonderful husband Ray who she says, "he keeps me grounded and out of trouble". With her two children, Easton and Indya and three grandchildren, Kamren, Kaiser and Jackson she keeps very busy. Her story wouldn't be complete without mentioning her fur-babies, Malaya, Dutchess (the dogs) and Panther, Gray and Kibbles (the cats). In her free time, she enjoys playing pool ( don't let the sweet face fool you because she has earned the nickname " the shark") jewelry designing, painting, knitting, crocheting and socializing with family and friends.
