Medical Assistant

My name is Ellie and I am the Medical Assistant at Natural Endocrinology Specialists. I am a recent graduate from Northern Arizona University with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health and minors in Spanish and Biology. Currently, I'm in pursuit of becoming a Physician's Assistant and gaining a well-rounded view of health care. My work approach will always involve enthusiasm, passion, and be goal-oriented. I believe health care should be effective, informative, collaborative, and hold compassionate communication between the providers and their patients to improve overall well-being. This is why I love working at NES because we provide just that!

Education:

Graduate from Northern Arizona University with a B.S. in Public Health with minors in Spanish and Biology

Achievements:

Completed a hospital rotational program abroad in Seville, Spain in the Summer of 2022

Completed a Leadership in Action internship working as a medical translator and scribe

Solo traveled/backpacked around Europe for two months

Why

Why Am I Working in Healthcare:

Science was always my best subject and learning about how our bodies function intreated me to a whole other level. This in conjunction with my passion of helping others feel better physically and mentally made me lean into working in the healthcare field. I hope to create more effective, informative, and compassionate communication between healthcare providers and their patients to improve overall well-being with my time while working in the healthcare industry.

Why I work at NES:

I work at NES because it offers me a great learning environment towards my future in the healthcare industry as well as broadens my skills and knowledge towards alternative methods of healthcare. The work environment is amazing here because it really contributes towards by passion of being an enthusiastic, collaborative, and goal oriented worker. This scope of practice has showed me the possibilities of what a well-rounded approach to health can look like.
