Case Study 3: Managing Type II Diabetes Naturally

Patient Background:

  • Age/Sex: 68 years old female.
  • Symptoms: Frequent urination, increased thirst, blurry vision
  • Initial Diagnosis: Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis
  • Medical History: Pulmonary embolism d/t OCP, lactose intolerance

Treatment Journey:

A. Initial Consultation and Treatment

  • Prescription changes to Glipizide
  • Implementation of dietary, detox, and herbal recommendations
  • Initial labs indicated HbA1c of 11.4% & fasting glucose of 411

B. Follow-Up and Adjustments

  • Lab results over subsequent visits showed progressive improvement in HbA1c and glucose levels.
  • Adjustments to medications and supplements based on lab results and patient feedback.
The graph shows that the patient’s blood sugar is getting lower and more controlled over time, which is great for their health. The glucose level of 6.2% is in the prediabetic range.
The graph shows good progress with total and bad cholesterol dropping over time. However, triglycerides have increased slightly.
