My appointment with Dr. Holyoak was so helpful! She is very impressive! She is the 3rd doctor I have been to for my issue and she had a plan for me as soon as our appointment began. She knows how to read beyond the lab results and work with the whole body, in all facets. I left with a detailed plan, tackling the underlying issues and hopefully will resolve all of my symptoms. My husband has been a patient of Dr. Khoshaba for over a year now, and she has been able to get his thyroid levels back to where they should be. His previous hormone doctor gave him a dosage that was 10 times higher than it should have been, and it caused all kinds of problems that Dr K. fixed. She is helping him with other health issues as well. She is extremely knowledgeable and caring. Her office staff runs a tight ship and follows up on everything that's needed - something too many doctors' offices don't do well. We highly recommend Dr. K and travel from NM to Scottsdale once a year to see her in person, in addition to regular video consults.

Dr Khoshaba really is amazing, I found her online by looking for a highly rated endocrinologist that will actually help me. I didnt have the highest hopes going in because I’ve talked to several drs who haven’t been able to come up with a good treatment plan or even test me for everything that they should be. I don’t have to beg Dr. Khoshaba for testing, Dr. Khoshaba listens and she is the first Dr to see that my “normal” lab work isn’t actually optimal. If you have high normal levels then that’s not normal and what’s “normal” for one may not be normal for all, she listens to my symptoms. I feel heard after seeing her and have faith in her plan for me, she even told me she “will be personally offended if her plan does not work” I love that.

Dr. Koshaba is amazing and the whole staff treats you like a celebrity when you are there. I thought I was going to die going through menopause. I checked myself into the ER 3 different times only to be told there was nothing wrong with me except dehydration. I felt so comfortable on my first visit from the staff and environment. Dr. Natalie was very attentive and listened to my concerns. She suggested a supplement and lab work to make sure everything was where it should be.

Only down side is the cost of the visits but well worth it for the natural approach I am looking for. They do offer a super bill that you can submit to your insurance.

Who can become a patient?

We are currently accepting patients residing in Arizona. We do not currently take new pediatric patients (under age 18).

I live outside of Arizona, can I become a patient?

Yes, you can still become a patient at NES™ but you will be required to have an IN PERSON visit each appointment. Please note that many patients come from all over the country because Dr. Khoshaba, NMD, FABNE is known as the best endocrinologist in Phoenix and Scottsdale.

What conditions can you help me with?

At NES™ the focus is on optimizing your hormones. Patients see our team for help with integrative hormone therapy, comprehensive thyroid care, adrenal concerns, metabolic concerns, blood sugar regulation and cardiovascular concerns.

How do I access my patient portal?

You can access your telemedicine appointment in 3 ways.
The first way is to use the Zoom link that is emailed to you to join the video session at the time of your appointment.

The second way is to login to your patient portal here, go to the Appointments tab, and then select Check-In beside the video icon on the right side of the appointment listing.

The third way is to go to www.nesaz.com and click on the Telemed link located at the top right of the website that is located under "Portal"

Make sure to fill out the questionnaires and consents that have been shared with you so there are no delays in getting your appointment started. Please add a photo of you as well, we love to see all your happy faces!

How do I Sign up?

Patients can schedule using the online booking page or by emailing the office.

What should I expect during a meet and greet?

This is an opportunity to meet our team and see if you are a good fit for each other. This is not a medical visit, labs will not be reviewed and treatment recommendations and prescriptions will not be given. You can book an appointment on the book now page. Once you have become a patient and filled out your patient consent forms, she will be able to provide you with the care deemed appropriate.

What does it mean to be Board Certified in Naturopathic Endocrinology?

A Board-certified Naturopathic Endocrinology designation requires additional studying and training on top of being a Naturopathic Medical Doctor (NMD). This entails sitting for a 2-hour examination consisting of 200 questions specifically related to endocrinology. More info at EndoANP.

Yes! We love collaborating with other health professionals to ensure you have the very best care team for you.

How do I login for my telemedicine appointment?

You can access your telemedicine appointment in two ways. The first way is to use the Zoom link that is emailed to you to join the video session at the time of your appointment. How do I get my medical records transferred to NES™?

Schedule a service online at www.nesaz.com
You will receive 3 email notifications from Charm EHR.
Video Consult/Appointment Confirmation Patient portal Registration Questionnaire notification for several questionnaires including the medical records release form.

As you complete their questionnaires, a message will be sent to Front Desk notifying that the questionnaire has been completed.
Once the Medical Records Release Form has been signed and received, a member from NES™ will submit the request to the office you are requesting records from.

I am a new patient, how do I sign up?

New patients can sign up using the online booking page or by emailing the office. Please see Patient Scheduling

Do you accept insurance?

No we do not accept insurance at this time. However, we are happy to provide a superbill for you to submit to insurance on your own for reimbursement. You may be able to use your insurance for regular lab work and imaging, but it is recommended you check with your specific insurance provider. Check with your HSA provider to see if you are eligible to use this for your visits, specialty tests, regular lab work, imaging, etc.

What is FABNE?

FABNE means to be a Fellow of the American Board of Naturopathic Endocrinology (FABNE) which is a specialization certificate which required additional training and examination to a naturopathic medical degree.
